Job Description:
The Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India is seeking a Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) to provide transportation services for officials. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and maintaining vehicles, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers, and performing other duties as assigned by the Administration Division.
Responsibilities:
- Driving officials to various locations as directed
- Maintaining vehicles in good working condition
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Matriculation or equivalent
- Valid driving license for motor cars
- Knowledge of motor mechanism and ability to remove minor defects
- At least three years of experience driving a motor car
- Three years of service as Home Guard/Civil volunteer (desirable)
Additional Information:
- The position is based in New Delhi.
- The selected candidate will be governed by the regulations of pay and other terms of deputation as per Department of Personnel and Training's OM no. 6/08/2009-Estt.-(Pay.II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time.
